Why Rust Feels Different

A tight note on what makes Rust worth learning.

Why Rust Feels Different

Rust is strict up front, then calm in production.

The compiler pushes you to handle ownership, errors, and edge cases early. That can feel slow at first, but it removes a lot of runtime surprises later.

Two things stand out:

  • Performance close to C/C++
  • Memory safety without a garbage collector

The learning curve is real, but the payoff is confidence.
